Locations: Student Experience has two offices, in the Twin Cities and Duluth, and provides services to clients in and around those cities

Hours: Both offices are open Monday through Thursday 9am to 4pm. The Twin Cities location is also open on Friday from 9am to 4pm.

Services: Personal Care Assistants who assist clients with daily activities of living in their homes and accompany them in the community.

Mission and History

Mission: “To provide students (future professionals) with the opportunity to develop and gain health related experience while delivering exceptional client care”

How Did Student Experience Begin: RaeAnn Saunders shared an apartment with her sister Gayle who, due to a diving accident, needed some assistance with daily activities. RaeAnn saw firsthand the need Gayle and other individuals with disabilities have for dedicated and engaged PCAs. Thus Student Experience was started and as the 25th anniversary comes to an end, the company is still part of the family.

Employment

Thanks to our clients and PCAs, Student Experience had a 17% growth in 2011 and is looking to expand our staff! Interested in helping others? Are you a RN who enjoys mentoring and writing your own schedule? Are you organized, detail oriented, and love communicating via phone, in person and by email? We have positions for you!

PCA applications are always welcome! To work as a Personal Care Assistant, applicants must commit to work 2 consecutive semesters (fall, summer, and spring), have personal transportation and work a minimum of 12 hours per week. Click on Student to get more information and to apply!
